Lean Manufacturing

Sportech began its Lean manufacturing journey in 2006 with a firm commitment to transition from traditional manufacturing to a “Lean” environment. We’ve seen significant advantages in our improved cycle times, on-time deliveries, reduction in inventory and better quality. Our efforts have enabled us to pass these savings on to our customers.

Lean behaviors are a part of our culture. We encourage our employees to make a conscious effort to work efficiently each day. We train them how to live our Lean standards, welcome suggestions about how to eliminate waste, and reward those who find ways to improve and initiate lean practices with others.
